We cannot accept returns for change of mind on some products therefore please contact us within 7 days of purchase for a return request.
Goods must be unopened, unused and in original condition and packaging. If a return is approved we will offer a refund or exchange and please note there will also be a restocking fee.
All freight must be paid by the customer.
If goods are not in original unused condition as mentioned above, Hume Performance reserves the right to refuse refund or exchange.
New products will be covered by manufacturer’s warranty so please refer to manufacturer’s policy.
All our carburettors new or remanufactured have a 3 month warranty period from date of purchase.
If you believe you purchased a faulty item, please follow the steps below:
- Has the product been installed by a qualified person and has it been fitted correctly?
- Are there any troubleshooting instructions with your product or tuning requirements that will help solve your problem?
- If the above have already been followed and the problem persists, please contact us as soon as possible.

A team member from Hume Performance will try to work out the issue with you, if this cannot be resolved over the phone, then the product will need to be returned to Hume Performance for testing.
All warranty returns needs to be first approved by a Hume Performance staff member. You will need to send back the complete product with all packaging along with a copy of your tax invoice.

Please note you will need to pay for any freight costs associated with sending the product back to us.
If the product is found not to be defective from manufacturing or component defect, the return freight will also need to be paid by you, along with the cost of any parts required to fix the product.
If the product is found to be faulty, the product will be repaired, replaced or exchanged. The freight can also be reimbursed to you, please send us the receipt for this purpose.
Please note the above refers to our carburettors, as any other new products are covered by manufacturer’s warranty and may need to be returned to the manufacturer for testing. If preferred you can do this directly with the manufacturer, please contact us if you’re unsure.
Further to this, please note that failing to install the product correctly, misuse or neglect will void any warranty claim.
The use of the products for motorsports purposes, in most circumstances, is contrary to the manufacture’s design specifications and not in accordance with the manufactures instructions (eg, ‘burn out’ use). Accordingly, the use of these products in motorsports, will, in most circumstances, void the products warranty.
